Continuous querying of the accepted way of manufacturing and installing balustrades eventually led to the discovery of the Toyota Production System. For those of you who don't know, Toyota has the world’s leading manufacturing system in terms of speed, efficiency and significant reduction in wastage and rework. So for Centurion, after an investment of some $500,000 and five years of exhaustive re-engineering and learning, we do see ourselves as devotees and experts in adapting their processes to our business. Undertaking this revolutionary approach to manufacturing has seen us achieve some incredible results. For example the industry error rate of 18% we have cut to under 1% whilst being 52% faster when compared to traditional manufacturing and installation methods. We are fiercely patriotic when it comes to Australian manufacturing and 100% systems driven in our approach to make every process  better, faster and smarter!
